Roots First Article

After hearing the founders of the landscape architecture firm Roots First speak at a conference about 'repair ecology', I pitched this idea to Landscape Architecture Magazine and was approved for a 400-word profile of the firm. I interviewed the founders and a nonprofit partner they worked with on this project, transcribed interviews, chose quotes, clarified meanings, and mercilessly edited to fit the 400-word mark.
